  • want to prevent leg weakness

  • value improving balance and control

What’s Involved:

Our knees can ‘play up’ because of a sporting injury, arthritis or lack of exercise. This 6 week water workout program is for active members to help them move more efficiently, increase leg strength and improve balance.  Gain the most up-to-date research in aquatic exercise and have access to online videos to use during your own exercise regime.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Do I need to know how to swim?

A: No, you won’t get your hair wet or put your face into the water.

Q: Can I book in today?

A: Yes, register via the Sandhurst website . Pick up some information at the Health Centre reception and also fill out a brief exercise and health screening form (or we can email it to you).

Q: I’m interesting but how do I get to know more?

A: If you can’t come on Fridays but still want to talk about some aquatic exercise ideas for you then email Jenn at jsp@jsp.solutions

Q: I’d like to attend but I know I will miss 1 or 2 sessions, can I still register for the program?

A: Yes, we have places for members who can commit to the full 6 weeks and then a few places for people who will be away or have a previously booked appointment.  Once you have registered for the full program and you’ve had a health screening, all bookings for each class will be made on the Sandhurst Group Fitness page each week.  We can explain further about that when you register.   https://member.clubware.com.au/SandhurstHealthClub/TimeTable

Q: I’m interested in this program, but can’t make it for any sessions.  Will this program be repeated in 2020?

A: Please register your interest – we are interested to know what will work for you in the future.

We look forward to exercising with you in the warm Sandhurst Pool.
